CitraBlue St. Augustine grass was developed in 2019 by the University of Florida‘s Turfgrass Breeding Program sponsored by the Turfgrass Producers of Florida, Inc. CitraBlue is an improved variety of grass developed to withstand some of the challenges facing with other St Augustine varieties. CitraBlue is known for its deep gree-blue color with improved diseases resistant and drought tolerant. Citrablue was developed to thrive in Florida weather.
